My gear is going to be SOAKED.

Just now the rain is easing up a bit. I'll rescue my tent as soon as I can and let it dry as much as possible but it's going home wet.

So are the Things.

i usually bring a trash bag if I need to take home wet tent

protect the car, then spread out tent at home to dry

It was definitely a learning experience.

I have a dry tarp; put that down in the car, wet stuff on it and dry stuff under. They're going camping after lunch (sandwich buffet) and I'll pack. Makes things easier all the way around.
