I went into a store, and the clerk didn't have a mask. Noticing that, I was startled and embarrassed to realize I didn’t have mine on either. Apologizing, I did it from a pocket and put it on.

The clerk tells me not to worry about it, they (society) gave up on masks so that the pandemic would be over sooner.

I mean, technically she wasn't INCORRECT? That’s one way to thin the herd… (sigh)

But I just wanted to buy the dog biscuit cookie. Which, by the way, was 4 dollars and I forgot my wallet

I did watch a kdrama show the other day where the protagonist lost her Wallet and couldn't pay the the 400 won ($4 roughly) for her coffee, no one would believe she wasn't a scammer and they made her go to the docks of the small town and clean and gut raw squid to pay off her debt
