My day just got a LOT more complicated. I was on track to be available to play, but the cat rescuer announced that she's on the way NOW with the cat and kitten, so we have to set up space and get ready to start the socialization process.

I had to take the long way home. I have a couple of stops to make. I'm on the way now, but not exactly role playing condition.

I just wish I'd had a bit more warning.

All good. Catching up while waiting for her to get here. Hard to get back to grading, but I might be able to do some lesson planning.

Yup! The rescuer set 3 traps a few days ago. Caught mom, baby, and a possum. Possum was NOT happy. Well, neither was Mom. I wasn't able to witness baby.

Anyway, what we didn't realize was that the options were: 1) release mom and adopt baby out (which was just a heartbreaking thought), or 2) we adopt both mom and baby an socialize them.
