It's been a productive day for everything but gaming.

Our injured cat is doing okay...but the intravenous fluids process did not go well.

We had good luck with it the first couple of times, but the last two times have involved missed placement. It's upsetting.

To everyone involved.

Yeah.

And we still have to do eye drops, oral meds, and inhaler tonight.

Yeah.

I'm hoping we get good news at his follow-up appointment on Wednesday.

Oy.

Tomorrow is meetings and then doctor appt. Wednesday is meetings and then doctor appt. Gonna be a fun week.

Meh. I'm not stressed. But distracted.

We are currently observing the allergy drama scene.

Well, that could have gone better. But, I've mopped.

And now the bath drama; I'll mop dry when they are done.

The weekly shot. Jewel DISLIKES the pinch and poke.... but LOVES the treats.

And she can't directly disobey her daddy.

So... there's lots of pacing back and forth and the picking up and dropping of toys while DH gets ready, and then the treats hit the floor and she comes to get them but NOT to let him touch her, which is a lot of ducking and diving and rolling.

Awwww.

And then he puts down the spray treat and she knows the poke is next..... and she does everything she can to lick up the PB treat AND roll over onto her back at the same time... and sometimes we even get the shot home.

And NOW She's taking a shower with daddy. Which she also dislikes but can't refuse.

You know how I am about needles, which leaves Terence in charge of administering the IV...and when it doesn't go well, he gets very upset. He can't bear to hurt the cat.
