I'm 2 episodes in, and I have to say, I hope He-man isn't in the entire remainder of the show 😄

Well, Reddit thinks he has been "emasculated" and that Teela is a "roided out lesbian" that doesn't "look like a woman"

I think Teela (and all the ladies) look like awesome cosplay potential

I think they were super ballsy to do what they did in the first ep, I really like how high the stakes are, I wish the second half of the series was already available.

worth checking out, I've only seen 2 episodes but so far it seems that they did a good job of keeping the basic spirit of the show while updating characters and story line to be modern and approachable

Like in She-Ra, many of the characters are cheesy and dumb but with a little tweaking it's still true to the nostalgia but a fresh take that makes it not... cheesy and stupid

And they are already showing that characters will be more detailed and nuanced, not just "MY NAME IS EVIL-LYN! NYAH! I"M EVIL BECAUSE I AM NAMED EVIL-LYN!"

And they made Cringer's voice much less obnoxious, he was Snarf-esque before. Still whiny, not as grating 😉

Still bumbling doof, but not as obnoxiously so, he had kinda a 'teen that wants to help' vibe from the voice

Well, to be fair, if you want to watch a reboot of Masters of the Universe, you MIGHT expect to see He-Man. If he was your favorite character, from what I hear, you MIGHT feel cheated. That said, Teela is allowed to wear pants for goodness sake

I thought his new logo on his outfit was inspired. Before it was a generic red cross on his chestpiece, now it's a red symbol that has an H and M worked into it
