I ordered a brand new pair of birkenstocks to replace a beloved pair where the cork is literally crumbling. They are ten years old, have been resoled several times, but they're just on last legs.

On website, the color was a super dark, nearly-black brown

I ordered them YESTERDAY and they arrived TODAY with FREE SHIPPING

...but they're a medium brown. I have a medium brown pair.

Am I an asshole?

And they got the color wrong

The color I ordered and the one they sent is the same. But how it looks on the computer vs in person is not.

And they should know that.

Do they offer a darker shade?

They do have black ones. I will probably order those.

Because, as said, I have a brown pair.

I'd contact them and ask them to replace them. I'm sure they will at no additional cost as their ad is misleading
