Oof, my contribution to tomorrow's BBQ is turning into a $50 pasta salad 😆

((Snerk)) That's a hell of a pasta salad. I'm impressed.

I wanted to make fresh pesto so I hit the farmer's market - 2 x bunches of basil at $4 each. Bought pine nuts and parmesan from the store $5 for the pine nuts, a few bux for the parm since I won't use it all. $3 for the box of pasta, $5 for the tub of farmer's market fresh cherry tomatoes, 2 small tubs of fresh mozz to cut up, $6 each, also from the market

it added up!!

And a jar of kalamata olives... but I won't use the whole jar so I shouldn't count it. Some red onion... mmmm, more like $30, but it should be GOOD

And I bet I'll have leftover pesto too 😋

OH YES.
