Okay, to clarify: the grocery emergency was that we had run out of onions and tonight's recipe calls for onions, so I needed to run out and get some. However, the day became stranger when we discovered a loaf of bread wedged into the handle of our screen door. NO idea who it's from. It smells good (from Bread Alone)...but....
