I have 1) successfully gotten our handyman in to work on removing the wallpaper that has thwarted me, an 2) successfully started the IRB application for my pilot study which had also been thwarting me. I am making progress towards a state of un-thwartedness.

It was one of those things that has been a stumbling block to getting a lot of OTHER things started (can't paint room until wallpaper is down, can't rearrange room until room is painted, can't set up closet studio until room is rearranged, etc.)
