Okay. I'm actually enjoying Tooth and Claw, the author put in some effort in developing a dragon culture in a Victorian template. Of the siblings, one of the males is a Parson, the other male a young fellow building his fortune in the big city at risk of being tarnished by 'trade' and who hopes to help his family, their sisters, two maidens, one with feminist ideas , each clinging to the other but now forced to part with the death of the family patriarch, and frustrated their fates are not theirs to choose

But the world building includes such things as ritual cannibalism among dragons (A dragon dying of old age actually wills who gets what portions of him), the parsons being highly respected, but walking everywhere as their wings are bound by custom, and a social hierarchy that is quite strict. Females are treated as prizes, and should they Blush (Their scales turn pink) they are no longer considered maidens even if no mating has occured- seems to be a 'in season' kind of biological reaction.

I think this one is going on the shelf for Bronte and Zara's library
