Okay, new student contacting me about next year's courses. Email says "Bianca" but student indicates a preference to be called "Brian" but is okay with being called "B."

It's tricky because our records program doesn't have a space for "preferred name" -- and it should, at least for the roster.

Bureaucracy is often behind at least 5 years

I like that our system allows students to change their name in class rosters/on the LMS - it won't touch their transcripts or financials, but it changes what the classroom sees/uses

Okay, I will have text for those scrolls set up tomorrow, and I'll PM them to the right people.
