The Things had fun and DH got some quiet time. He peopled yesterday and is done with it.

But I'm kinda bummed I missed some good RP.

On the plus side, I do like this family and got to meet their new very sweet pet, and the kids are going roller skating 16 May so we have that set up.

((Sigh)) I like living here, despite a few down-sides. One of the BIGGEST are the perfectly nice people living RIGHT next door.... at least once a week, into the night, they feel it is appropriate to BLARE MUSIC through the open garage door for the street to enjoy.

And frankly, given a choice between saying something in a kindly fashion, calling police on them for the noise, or suffering in silence...... I'll suffer. In part b/c I'm a coward. Also, I don't want them to get shot.

I get the fear factor. My heart pounds a mile a minute when I go to the kids across the street to ask them to turn it down. Mostly because I never know if it's the same kids as last year.
