Went outside to put some mail in our mailbox... and I hear the crows (I think they're crows, seem a bit small for Ravens) raising up a storm! I look up, streaking above and past me I see a hawk, with a murder on his/her tailfeathers! Hawk is bigger, but there are FIVE dark feathered corvids wooshing after and around, harrying and pecking... the hawk twists, turns, the crows follow, but then a clear hole opens... and the hawk just cuts LOOSE and BOOM.. the hawk just out speeds them to get away.

WOW.

Like.... that totally tied in to recent Stories....!!

That IS cool.

I felt sorry for the hawk abit, but impressed by both the crows team work, and the hawks speed. No doubt our neighborhood is owned by the crows though.
