Today I finished the audio revisions for the people who don't know how to prepare a reading script, wrote a letter of recommendation for a student, and went shopping for dinner ingredients (pork roast). I feel unaccountably exhausted.

I look forward to the midnight strike tonight, when the old year will pass, Covid will be miraculously cured, Trump will be frozen in carbonite and turned into ashtrays, movies will be in theatres again, B will have vanished into the haglands, and I will have lost 30 pounds and gained some of my hair back. The fields will be rich with grain, the forest with berries, and redheaded beauties 2/3rd my age will want me to move into their mansion so they can pamper me.

for my family, pork is a new year's day, not NYE thing
