One of the funny bits of Triva about Second hand lions, the movie? the Director (I think) knew that they needed a Lion for the movie.. and got a Lioness. Animal wrangler/ Trainer asked why he got a Lioness and not a Lion...and the director was "Well, I figured the Lioness would be more docile and gentle?"
