It's hard, being the newer entry into any social circle. You want to invite people to things, but especially around holidays, you have to assume that they may already have invites that are more appealing, and run the risk of being rejected which is disappointing for most, but can be devastating for the prideful!

It occurs to me (and her) that she may be overthinking things after all. Keep it simple, without much fuss, and you're more likely to get the Baron to agree to something fancier for Yule or future.
