And I have to confess, playing up Doomwind as this big bad force come to take the crown since Summer was fun because I kind of decided while an amazing Jouster, she was also terribly lonely and missing Norway herself but now cut off from it because of her commoner sympathetic politics

I really like that. Brekke has VERY complicated feelings about Aesin, so she tends to avoid them. And I actually didn't know any commoner-sympathetic Aesin existed!

I never did much reading on the Aesin, so that's COOL.

Ah, that's part of my fault. I definitely played that up, But in the C20 version instead of a +3 Dif on all social rolls with commoners (or something like that) , they have the inability to use their mortal side for Reverie (IIRC) because they don't jibe well with tehir new flesh

Likely. Doomwind breaks a few expectations anyway. The Aesin tend to have 'mens roles and womens roles' and you can cross over if you work hard and show skill at it, but there is some light teasing at least
