They knew nothing of use save perhaps about the Ranter organzation, and he hardly wanted them to succeed in their long term goal. Soon, he would be utterly trusted by the Count... and then? Well, it would be all the easier to frame another Ranter set for his excellency's untimely demise, A firm hand would be needed. A commoner lord to take the throne so the Ranters would be shown to be wrong, and the sidhe would think they had a malleable figure head.. but once he was on the throne, Count Connor would use THEM, and the banner of House Ailil would flutter. Father would finally love him. And Connor would rule with an iron paw
