The vacant house next door had their copper piping stolen this afternoon. I didn't hear anything happening over there, but suddenly the parking lot down the hill is flooded because the thieves didn't turn off the water main.

I mean, that house has stood vacant for well over ten years. The owners are local, but they're reluctant to sell it for some reason. We've been happy to have a VERY quiet property to one side of us...but now we're concerned this might push them to sell, and we'll have to decide whether we want to put ourselves into massive debt to purchase it and protect our sanity.

Given it's copper was ripped out I imagine the price is low
