This is stolen but..... If art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time. Discuss.

Assuming one needs to decorate time, then I suppose , taking the above as a truism, the music chosen can reflect how one feels about time...something to be embraced or escaped from.

Well, let's look at the term 'decorate'. Necessary changes for comfort and growth? Frivolous? A sign of culture, or a sign of degeneration?

That might vary by individual as well

Are art, music, and time subjective or objective?

Yes.

If one is filling time, that would indicate someone might have a reason to fill it or even feel it needs filled . What they fill it with indicates what maybe missing to them.

It would indicate that time is empty. Or has room to fill.

We seem to find it so or we'd be less motivated to fill it. Or perhaps we need music in our time to gain the illusion of control over time as we do other things
