I am trying to think of whether to hold off IC Pennons till after the 10th

What happens the 10th?

Brother gets married

I go across state, wear my little outfit, get swarmed by relations and pray they wear a mask... wish my brother and bride much love.. try to escape my parents, fail to escape them because they'll want to buy dinner or something... and then come back and collapse into a sleep for hours..

I thought that might be it.

at least 8 hours in a car. and maybe 8 hours of social anxiety

Surely, there will be at least one pleasant relative there?

Oh it's not them being pleasant or unpleasant. it's the crowd of 15 or more and feeling like a performing elephant even when I'm not in the main ring. (Thank goodness)

But at least 5 of them are Trumpkins.. and so I need to avoid politics.

And then there's wearing a mask which might get grief but frankly, I don't want COVID. Silly of me

Problem is, of course, the mask protects others not you. However, wear one. Might see some of the Trumpkins wearing them now, too.

I would like to think more of them might take it SERIOUSLY now
