Participation:
           The most important part of any job is to show up.  Attendance is required for the successful completion of this course. Students must participate every week – viewing the demo, practicing the technique, and then testing on each technique. You may earn participation points by completion of activities.
           Weekly participation points can always be earned by the following, to a max of 7 pts/week:
o  Doing a “practice” makeup during Virtual Class in Webex (3 pts)
o  Attending live Demo for new techniques (3 pts)
o  Posting practice makeup on the Bb forum for sharing (3 pts)
o  Giving peer feedback to posted makeup on Bb forum (2 pts/makeup responded to)

It looks pretty clear to me. I assume the students understand the medium terms better than I (I have no knowledge of Webex for example) but even then the context was obvious.

Ditto, and assuming WebEx is some screensharing or zoomish program

Maybe offer that they could, with a willing person if they do have family or someone they are around?

unless that's not fair to folk who are quarantining solo
