This comparison of puppies and books has me imaginging Salma walking through a hot parking lot, and seeing a car with it's windows up. Inside, a hardback, unnaturally bent as it has been dumped into the floorboards, it's spine fit to warp from the bad angle it was left at. The Driver returns later, and finds a note 'You can have a book again when you learn to treat it properly- you monster! I am giving it to a better home'
