face off is a fun show

minimal catty-reality-TV-drama

lots of "judges cause chaos with curveballs" drama

but talented artists making cool things?

Westmore is the mentor, the judges are also VERY good. They're pros with nerd-gasm worthy resumes.

I'm trying to remember which actor told an anecdote of some show where he sat down before the make up artist and said "Actually, apparently the only thing they need my face to be for this episode is punch able" and without missing a beat the Artist looked at the actor and joked "oh then we're done"
