So the mockingbirds have, like, 4 or 5 nests in a tree in our front yard. And they are the ones eating my tomatoes and blackberries. So I went out to put water in the bee bath and there's a mockingbird on the edging around the nesting tree.

Nope. Tomato plants are still HURTING but it's not flies or worms that I can tell.

I -did- take a peek at the nests, didn't SEE anyone in there but could be eggs or could be hiding.

Took Jewel for a leash-free walk to the mailbox to work on voice commands and on the way back she saw the Birdie under the van and (bird dog) went to take a closer look, all alert and ears forward. Bird flew triumphantly to a tree.
