Well, if you know you're going to be woke in the middle of the night to go to the hospital... might as well have a bag ready at the door for yourself? Snacks, a few toiletries, reading materials, spare charging cords, a little cash, so on?

I might include some instant coffee, but that's me.

I'm saying, BrekkeP, in a PINCH in the middle of the night, I can -find- hot water in a hospital. Brew coffee, not as much. But I damn well might want a cup of even instant at that point.
