I am thinking again about Discord. It’s free and has forever history. Honestly the only down sides are:

Pain of switching
Less access for me personally since I can’t lurk through work app
No custom emojis unless you upgrade


And Slack has a cleaner interface

So, I am currently running both apps

I will go where you guys go, though I'm used to slack and like it. Also I'd hate to cut your access time
