@rae - well, I believe I have been over-watering but I added just flour this a.m. and NOW I am seeing some better bubbling!

Also taking up TWO jars now.... so someone's going to have to take a nap and I need to make some bread.

@shadylady is it growing when you feed it? I would forget and feed it so that the jar is about 3/4ths full but then in a few hours it would be overflowing

as long as you have growth you should be good

Well, I'm adding water and flour at least once a day so yes, it's getting bigger, but I can't swear it's growing on it's own. However, it seems to be bubbling within the mass of starter vs finding bubbles on top.
