So far 2 friends I know have lost their jobs. Mine is secure for now, but they announced a 15% paycut across the board to help ensure that everyone keeps theirs.... *tightens belt a little

I have pretty good job security. I'm vital enough that as long as the company stands, I'll have a job

I tell you what, everyone down here is cleaning out their houses and there is going to be a HELL of a yard sale at the end of all this.......

We have a pretty solid customer base of websites we host that are recurring revenue, so there's always that even if new development biz slows down.

For the record: I am legit working 9-3 daily with a break for lunch, and I'm TIRED. Distance learning, even when it's asynchronous, is still a lot of work!

Well, I'm awfully proud of the work my students are doing. I could share a link to one of the discussions of 1984 my AP Lit class is doing, if you like. What's neat is that one of the girls who never seems to have much to say in class discussions is now getting her voice heard because of the way the videos are structured (you need to post your own video and respond to two other videos).

Good for her. I am okay with the not sharing. They might be private souls
