Okay. I took a chance on Theft of Swords by Micheal J. Sullivan. So far I'm liking it

I am wearing fleece lined leggings. they are happiness.

The man two characters are a warrior and a thief who end up being framed, but threre's one character they've just met. I think Zara would nod at this exchange. A whole monastery/library is burned (Part of a greater conspiracy) but a monk survives. Our heroes are stunned to learn that not only did this guy survive.... but he plans to stay and rewrite every book by hand.

"You mean to say you read every book, and you memorized each one?" - said heroes stunned

"I'm a librarian" The monk says, as if that explained it all

I am tickled that librarians are often granted vast near supernatural powers in modern fiction/mediums in the last few decades. Clearly the cat has gotten out of the bag
