Wow. Slackbot is turning into Shadebot.

Sadly, I think I need to crash early. We had drama at the school on Friday -- the kids were running wild all over the building, and one teacher got surrounded by a group who were threatening her. Another teacher saw this, saw there was no security or administration in sight, and chose to pull the fire alarm to interrupt the confrontation and get the fellow teacher to safety. It worked. And the principal, after hearing what happened, totally agreed. Apparently the superintendent does, too. But we're having a big teacher walk-in-together demonstration tomorrow to emphasize that we're unified in our outrage at the lack of safety in our school.

So I need to be at work a bit early.
