Inside was a notice from the VA.

Did I mention that today we had to drop $700 on a new Surface for me and something like $200 on an electrician?

Thing2 started both a martial arts after school program AND Cub Scouts today, with attendant fees, and I need to give Petsmart $120 tomorrow for training in October.

Uh-oh....

Seems the VA just noticed that we paid a tax-related thing when we bought the house 3 or so years ago.

Um...not sure what that means to the VA.

Well apparently..... my disability rating just caught up with the tax-related thing we paid.

Seems at my rating we didn't have to pay it.

So they're sending us $5800.
