So the Bride... does not hear the growls.. of belly

She glances over... and sees two friends.. SNICKERING... chuckling, Sniggering... and yes, laughing not quite quietly enough

The most amazing side eye can be done by women.. how they can radiate beauty from the front of their face, while shooting threats of impending doom from the side I will never understand.

UNFORTUNATELY, my friend saw this and was ..at this point, beyond fear or sense...

and it just made it funnier to him

And I? I knew that I was going to die. What had I to lose? I tried to give a 'sorry sorry' look, but probably looked more like a drawing on a mad magazine

The Ceremony ended... vows were exchanged. The Groom and Bride looked a bit like that painting of the Gothic Farmers... the grim guy with the pitchfork? But in my defense... he was stressed when he got there!

ANd GLAD to be married and have the display over (He loves her greatly to this day)

THEN we had the reception...

And you got some thing to eat.

And I groveled for an hour and a half.... explaing to the bride we were NOT making fun of her, and please forgive mea culpa etc.

I hope she made you do Special Tasks of Redemption of some sort.

It was generally agreed, and Indeed I dont' think I got a vote, that from then on in my life , I was not to go to ANY Wedding without access to something like a granola bar!

Oh.. the funnest part was that my damn belly seemed to fixate on every time the preacher said "LOVE"
