Several years ago I had a problem like this, went into the clinc... and oh my word, the staff there acted like I didn't have a REAL problem. I was there over 4 (I think 6 hours)..during which I got actual eye rolls and comments from one technician starting with things I could have tried to clear blah blah... and I said "I did that. that too. Yes that. didn't help. No, I reallly did that" The technician was actually the nicest person I encountered. But he pulled out this little machine, ran stuff through my ear and saved the day. Apparently I had done some cleaning but just didn't get this area blah blah. Oh you can buy these devices (Turns out you could not). Miserable experience twice over thanks to the disdain

Ugh. That's the sort of treatment that should force health care providers to go back to school. How dare they!

To their credit, they did have someone who SHOULD have gone to the emergency room show up 2 hours in, and that's the main reason for the delay, or so I gathered (hard to say). But while I don't like the wait, the attitude did greate. I'm a bit 'lower class' than than my peers and sometimes you get what you pay for. Still drives home to me why so many uninsured or those poorer than me don't get medical help.

Because it was a real problem. I couldn't sleep, I was in nearly constant throobbing pain.

👍 I suffered from annual ear infections in my youth. They're miserable.

They're terrible for kids and the parents of the kids. The parents feel like they can't do anything, the kids only know they're hurting ...but now it occurs to me I'm preaching to the choir. I do remember my god neices getting ear troubles. SUCKED so much for them and when they just whimper now and then you wish the infliction had a face so you can punch it

It's okay. High points were that if the Aesin hears his request, August gets put through a vicious quest. Where as if they marry mortally before Samhain, the Countess can slip it in there with a 'they're married twice what can we do but recognize it'
