This wasn't a hospital, D. Thankfully. This was a wing of the Brookdale place they're in. MUCH MUCH more comfortable surroundings, a 2 min walk from where mom lives, and the staff is really amazing. They know the residents by first name, ask about family details, express real concern about even little things.

Mom's memory loss is significant. She's had cardiac episodes. She's on a list of meds. Some emotional disorders.
