Not terrible. Had a call with my father today, went okay. Though he's not sure ALL the debt for student loans should happen like Warren suggests. I was more in favor of it, but it's not going to be easy that's for sure

It's not going to be easy, but mostly because our system of inequity has gotten so extreme that trying to crawl back to something reasonable is going to seem like an attack on those who have so much.

Well, it also is going to annoy those who did the crawling back on their own. My dad paid back his own loans for a masters that he took later in life... but I did mention to him that even from the 90s, prices went up as much as 10 times for college where as wages barely moved comparitively

I find that around here, the best way is to put things in terms of benefiting folks in pragmatic senses. There's a program for two years of college free for Tenneseans (If you qualify).... the former Governor sold it as "We'll slow down brain drain and make sure our own get those white collar etc jobs and help the over all economy"

Sure, the goal posts will move a bit...like, expensive private college degrees will be considered the minimum valid education for some jobs...but that's already the case to an extent.
