Oh, FB. The right wingers can never just leave something alone. One person is screeching up all of the comment about how WONDERFUL the electoral college is because "tyranny of the majority" and "Venezuela has direct elections"

I mean, sure - venezuala and the majority of all democratic countries in the world

Well, my own thought is every state should divide it's electoral votes along popular vote lines. 30% of your state voted democrat? Then 30% of your electoral votes rounded down should go to the democratic nominee. etc. It's more honest, keeps the EC in tact so small states still might get a politician visiting them now and then... and yet certainly more democratic.

I think that we'd be better off in general if we had a better proprtion of votes AND reps per capita
