She said hours ago she didn't want dinner... so naturally she wanders in wanting to know where her slice of ham is. the same one my Housem ate decided not to cook because she turned down dinner... had to pull damage control

Well, that was kind of predictable, wasn't it.

What's frustrating for me is I called it. And my housemate was like 'well she said she didn't want it' and I'm like 'eyah but.. ' and she's like 'well she'll have to deal' and I'm thinking no WE will have to deal

Yup, because Housemate is dutifully 'dealing' with it on demand.

And Housemte shouldn't have to. still very frustrating to say 'it's gonna rain' and folks go 'nah, you won't need an umbrella'. Later ..rain

Okay, devil's advocate question...is her pronunciation slurred enough that it's possible she did say she wanted it but others misheard her to say she didn't want it?

She doesn' slur that much, sometimes she has trouble with finding the word she wants. But honestly? it's to the point where if the DOG says something happened this way and B says it happened the other. I'll believe 'wuff' is the truth
