But Earl's options were watching Hirim risk everything alone, or race after him so he didn't face it alone at least. Trust me, he was FURIOUS with the nocker. ANd to some degree, has not trusted Hirim's judgement since.

I think you will want Zara in on his final doom, even if it's at someone else's hands, you'll want her to bear witness or have a part.

And in the mean time, Siv didn't realize it, but she did good so that will make her feel worth while. Got her own insecurities, Siv.

And yes, I very selfishly want Zara to have a part in the end

I would not mind Aug & Cora getting involved, though Zara has Cora issues

I mean, Z could run to Count Jude and probably fix this

Oh, Jude might be more limited than you think, but he could help yes.

Jude once had a lot more leeway if less respect, now he has more respect, but more constraints at times.

Not the least of which is Tierone outranking him 😉
