Ahhh, got it. It definitely makes her more eager to go, and quickly...and to wreak a mighty vengeance on the despoilers.

BUT...Mist's Edge has a point about bringing all three treasures to one place. It's a big risk. And Clem's point about it being overkill...Brekke's having second thoughts about bringing the Candles, in other words. She doesn't want to shirk the burden of using tools that may advantage them, but she also doesn't want to risk more than they should (which would harm them all in a different way). The use of the Eye here makes sense. The use of the Thread there would even the playing field. But the Candles might best be saved for when it is all-out war.
