B's Son in Law and I had a talk about B.

That said, I am still stunned that my normally zen housemate almost flipped B off. She's usually the ubercalm 'let it go and move on' type, and she doeesn't just talk the talk, she walks the walk and is good at it.

But tonight, B wanted to know what the name of some Bay in Mass. was on TV, and my friend didn't know and said so. B makes this frown and 'off with you' gesture.

Thought my zen roomie was going to flip her off

And B is in danger of losing her grand daughters.

One of them visits here as a second haven... and B has been trotting in with boxful's of judgement.

See, that's the moment where I would stop the movie, turn to her, explain that she's being rude and calmly request an apology. And the movie doesn't go back on until one is delivered.

But with out power of medical attorney.. we get all the shit of it, but can't have her ass committed

but it's there and my housemates say we have to be understanding. That she's going to get worse and we have to ride it out as best we can.

So I start to get testy, and others are "there's no point to ..." and encourage me to stay chill. I'm not good at chill.

I just wonder if "there's no point" is actually counter-productive...but then again, I don't know dementia well enough.

I'm usually good until she starts trashing her daughter or (less often) son in law (Self absorbed ungrateful hellbitch)
