That is one issue I have...the movie relies more heavily on the special effects than on the acting, which makes one notice the effects as effects. It takes me out of the immersive experience because i don't believe the characters/story, and I'm conscious of the trickery.

I think it's safe say this was a Great Flick, a good movie, and so so cinema, if you get the differences I'm trying to go for.

And they will have a sequel. It made bank in China and is doing well in the US.

I really hate making purchases like that. I'm always certain I'm going to end up hating whatever I get, and it'll be because i misunderstood something in the ordering process or something like that.
