For the Belgariad? Pawn of prophecy, for the Ellenium, the Diamond Throne. I like the Belgariad first, but it was MADE to take all the cliches/tropes as partly a literary experiment so yes, 'farm boy with great destiny' is the literal story

Ellenium with Sparhawk is a bit more original

For his writings, it's more a matter of the characters imo.
