Cat, I was saying exactly the same thing to Shades recently. I can't plot. I can play, but I can't develop a storyline with an outcome. And I certainly can't cleverly negotiate storylines on the fly like Mr. D can. I mean, wow.

I see it quite differently. I see it as a narrative of persistence, the search for dignity in an unjust world, and pure moments of humanity that show all the more clearly in the context of abject horror.

I like the look into surviving. WWYD? But, that's me.

I like zombie movies

Yeah, zombie movies are intense and resolve quickly. Zombie series are an endurance test. And yeah, the start of season 7 (I think) was so utterly bleak that that's when my husband gave up the show.

And the series has left behind the comics.

I never read those.
