Most Crown Tourney winners have been knights, or at least squires, before they make it that far in the big events. Those ranks are shown by belts colors. An unbelt is somebody who has never been a knight or a squire, and for one to suddenly win the Crown (to be made the next king) is highly unusual. I wonder if they're going to do a field promotion before declaring him prince?
