Okay, well. After the initial day when he was super discouraged because it was NOT working, he came back down to clean up and found that someone had neatly and swiftly, stripped the paint from the rejects, trimmed the flash and re-primed them (he forgot the primer base coat!).

If you forget the primer, the paint just doesn’t stick....
