My shower was like Noah's ark; cat on the stool-shelf in the shower, dog in the shower with me. Yay. Both leave, and dog goes nuts scrambling from shower-edge to doorway and back, crumpling up the rugs and skidding on the tile and generally celebrating SHOWER!!!!

All the while making growly noises.

From her perspective, you're endangering yourself. Valencia comes into the shower, but a) it's huge and she can stay away from the water and b) she's smart enough to get on the stool-shelf in there, which gives added protection from above.
