I walked in, looked at the whiteboard with vehicle statuses and then the way the phone was jumping and said "Ok, so let me brief myself; we have no vehicles and no one came to work today."

The other SOC thought for a second, and just nodded. "Yep. Ok, you're briefed."

I'm taking a moment b/c that was an intense couple hours there.

2 hrs of constant phone calls, multiple phone calls, constant radio traffic, emails coming in, instant messages pinging......

And a couple of people popping in to return equipment which means I have to hand over logs to be signed...

I now have a stack of notes to go through, but at least it's quiet enough I -can-.
