That’s always rough I’m sorry dude :\ My new work is on the way to a major tourist area so we were slammed Labor Day weekend, and then just as everything started to settle down my Gastroparesis issues started acting up but luckily didn’t need surgery.

Labor Day is a surprisingly bonkers weekend in a lot of areas. Knoxville goes firework crazy.

I digest food a lot slower than other people so it’s kinda like a vamp without the Eat Food Merit... I can get “backed up” if I don’t pace myself correctly and/or eat the right things so best case scenario I go into cyclical vomiting for days on end and worst case scenario they have to take rotten food out. I really miss fried chicken.

There’s meds I can take but prolonged use can lead to “involuntary muscle movements” which is a big nope if I want to use a car so I’m saving up for the other option where they implant a device that will stimulate my vagus nerve.. sorta like a pacemaker but for my digestive system. But yeah that’s usually the reason why I disappear for stretches, good to see y’all 👋
