I have to say, both our new additions are awful sweet too.

Jewel is SUCH a wee thing, all floppy and sloppy.

Valencia is a whole 2 months older and AGES more sophisticated.

The Things certainly treat her as such.

Thing1 is a cat person, I think. Less sloppy and messy and such.

Jewel is experimenting with poor behavior as a way of getting attention. She stole a flip flop of mine, ran off with it. Ditto a cleaning rag.

And so on.

ha!

So we get to deal with that. Happily, we've decided to get into puppy training.

I offered Jewel her mattress pad to come join me in my studio since the Things are upstairs and the DH is mowing. She grabbed it and ran off. Victory over success.

She just came back and cuddled. She seems to be settling down for the mid-morning rest.
